Position Overview
INTWARI SCHOOL is seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, excellent classroom experience, and a proven ability to integrate ICT and educational technology into teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Science to Lower and Upper Primary learners following the national curriculum.
- Teaching Kinyarwanda in lower primary.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, practical, and learner-centered science lessons.
- Integrate ICT tools and digital resources into teaching, including applications like Google Classroom, Google Forms, Kahoot, and other EduTech platforms.
- Guide students in STEM-related projects and activities, especially in Scratch Environment, Turtle Art, and Etoys.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress, providing feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance teaching quality and learning outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Science in a primary school better in private school.
- Strong English communication and classroom management skills.
- Good knowledge of ICT units-related (Scratch, Turtle Art, Etoys).
- Must own and use a computer for lesson preparation and classroom integration.
- Skilled in using educational technology platforms and tools.
- A Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, preferably in Science and Mathematics Education (SME) or Science and Mathematics Education .
- Passionate about innovation, creativity, and learner-centered education.
